Configure port forwarding for telephony
Here are the steps to configure port forwarding for telephony:
- Connect your computer to the Wi-Fi network or on one of the « LAN » ports on your router.
- Open your web browser.
- Go to the configuration page of your router. The default address for most routers is: « http://192.168.0.1 ».
- In the menu, choose the « DHCP » option for the configuration.
- Create an IP address reservation for the telephony gateway.
- Click the button to save de changes.
- In the menu, choose the « port forwarding » (ou «virtual servers») option.
- Create a rule to open the "5060-5061" ports on the « UDP » protocol and associate this rule with the IP address of the telephony gateway.
- Create a rule to open the « 8050 » port on the « TCP » protocol and associate this rule with the IP address of the telephony gateway.
- Click the button to save de changes.
- Restart the router.
