In IP telephony (VoIP), your telephone is connected directly to your high-speed Internet access rather than to a so-called land line. You have access to advanced telephony, flexible and much more affordable than traditional telephone service.
IP telephony combines the options of a cell phone with the main advantage of the house phone: stability. IP service adapts to any high-speed Internet service - DSL, cable or otherwise - regardless of location or Internet provider.

Keep your existing number
If you want to use IP telephony as your main home phone line, you can transfer your existing number to our service. Once your number is transferred, you can cancel your service with your old provider. You can keep the phone number that everyone knows!
To see if your current number can be transferred to Oricom Internet’s phone service, enter your three-digit area code as well as the first three numbers of your current phone number. Note: you can only transfer a cell phone number if you have a monthly subscription plan. You cannot transfer “pay as you go” cell phone numbers.
